About Capstone House

Nestled in the heart of Panama City, Florida, Capstone House has been a beacon of spiritual exploration and personal growth since 1989. Our journey began with four visionary founders: Gladys Grimsley, Ed Wilbanks, Dr. Jim DeRuiter, and George Bowdler. These pioneers recognized a growing need in our community for a space dedicated to exploring spirituality, metaphysics, and the mysteries that lie beyond the everyday.

From its inception, Capstone House was more than just a center—it was a sanctuary for those seeking to expand their minds, deepen their spiritual understanding, and connect with like-minded individuals. Our founders were passionate about creating a place where futuristic ideas could thrive, where conversations about the cosmos and the unknown were not only welcomed but encouraged.

As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Capstone House is committed to serving the Panama City community and beyond. We believe in the power of education, community, and spiritual growth, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. Join us by attending a class, browsing our extensive library, or participating in one of our special events, you'll find a welcoming space where your journey is honored and nurtured.
